C41 Process Fixers

FUJIFILM have replaced Fuji Hunt Unilec, XL-Rejuvenator and Unimatic LR with Super Unilec Fixer, as of February 2009. There is no need to discard your existing fixer when converting from your current product to Super Unilec; you can continue to replenish or regenerate your fixer when you make the change to Super Unilec without any problems. Fuji Hunt has several C-41 fixer systems available. The whole subject of fixers is covered more fully in the Fuji Hunt brochure "Fuji Hunt Fixing Systems". Super Unilec Fixer is suitable for both normal replenished and closed-loop desilvered replenished fixer systems, including regenerated systems. It is also suitable for use in minilabs that operate with the C41 standard process cycle including a fix time in the range 4 min 20 sec to 6 min 30 sec. Unimatic Fixer is an alternative to Super Unilec. This may be used in any standard C41 (or E6) processors where electrolytic desilvering is not a requirement. Negacolor B Fixer is available for the C41B and C41BNP processes. It is designed to work with a 3 min to 4 min 20 sec fixing time. Negacolor RA Fixer is a high activity fixer, specially designed for the very short 1 min 30 sec fix time of the C41 RA and C41 RANP processes.
