CPRA Developers for development at 35°C

CPRA Pro Developer is a specially designed formula to help to reduce effects of oxidation and tarring due to under-utilisation of a processor - typically roller transport processors in professional laboratories. CPRA Pro maintains developer activity even when very small quantities of paper are processed. The formula has been balanced to allow higher replenishment rates, ensuring the developer is changed sufficiently to prevent serious oxidation occurring.

CPRA Digital Pro Developer AC is a special formula for use with roller transport processors in professional laboratories, and is designed to boost the DMax on digital paper writers such as the Durst Lambda, Theta and Epsilon, Océ LightJet, Polielettronica LaserLab and ZBE Chromira. CPRA Digital Pro developer offers many important benefits over any conventional developer. These include vibrant saturated colours, deep intense blacks, and an excellent balance between "flare" and "DMax". Other benefits include Air Controlled two-part chemistry, excellent process stability and oxidation resistance, improved ease of printer calibration, and generation of a larger colour space for all-round improvements to print quality.

CPRA Developer standard and AC are both running at 160ml/m2 and 35.0°C and designed to be used with Fuji Crystal Archive FA or equivalent paper. Both developers are suitable for use in a wide range of processors.

EnviroPrint Developers for development at 38°C

EnviroPrint Developer is a general purpose developer recommended to those customers having low to medium low throughput volumes. A very important benefit of this developer over the conventional CPRA Developer working is that the customer can easily convert to a lower replenishment rate product out of the EnviroPrint product range by adjusting the replenishment rate only as all these developers run at 38.0°C. This product is available in larger pack sizes only.

EnviroPrint Developer can also be regenerated without the use of ion exchange resins. For regeneration, EnviroPrint Developer Regenerator HV High Ratio is used. 650 ml up to 700 ml of developer overflow can be rebuilt with regenerator concentrates to 1 litre of replenisher. EnviroPrint developer regeneration is particularly recommended for larger laboratories.

EnviroPrint Developer MP160 has the same benefits, replenishment rate and operating temperature as the standard EnviroPrint Developer, but with the added advantage of single-part mixing. This product is available in minilab and smaller pack sizes.

EnviroPrint Developer MP108 is a 108 ml replenishment rate product designed for customers wishing to work at a lower replenishment rate. Its medium replenishment rate makes it ideal for the lower throughput minilab and conventional laboratories that cannot justify using our LR (73ml/m2) or MP60 Developer. It is expected that EnviroPrint Developer MP108 will replace the conventional developers working at 160ml/m2.

EnviroPrint Developer MP73 AC is a new 73 ml/m² replenishment rate Air Control developer that will replace the smaller pack sizes of the existing EnviroPrint Developer Replenisher LR AC. This gives the advantage of single-part mixing to minilabs.

EnviroPrint Developer MP60 AC is a very low replenishment rate Air Control monopart developer working at 38°C. It is a homogeneous liquid concentrate rather than competitive bi - or tri-phase developers and replaces standard 3-part concentrates. EnviroPrint Developer MP-60 AC reduces the risk of operator mixing error, reduces effluent and packaging waste.

EnviroPrint Developer MP45 AC belongs to the category of the Air Controlled product range. The product has an extreme low replenishment rate of 45 ml/m² working at 38.5°C. The product must be used in combination with EnviroPrint Bleach/Fix MP-35. This combination guarantees optimum print quality with excellent whites and very high Dmax. This combination offers you the lowest replenishment rate possible generating the lowest possible effluent and packaging waste.

EnviroPrint FP Chemistry for Fast Processing

EnviroPrint FP Developer MR is a new developer designed for fast processing (22-33 seconds) RA4 minilabs. This monopart product features either standard 10L bottles or a custom 5L packaging concept - designed for KIS DKS minilabs - but also ideal for most other minilabs. It is also available in conventional packaging. Special monopart and two-part EnviroPrint FP Bleach-Fixes are also available (see our our TIS below).

As an alternative to the above, EnviroPrint Developer MP 45 AC may also be used; full instructions can be found in our Technical Information Sheet (TIS) - RA4 VLR chemicals for Fast Processing. A special starter (RA4 Quick Starter) is available to optimise start-up conditions.

Developer Regeneration is an ideal alternative to low replenishment rate chemistries, offering even lower developer waste generation and important chemical cost savings. One developer regeneration chemistry is available for all users; mixing instructions may need to be modified depending on the volume of developer overflow returned for regeneration :

  • EnviroPrint Developer Regenerator HV is the "High Rebuilt Ratio" version allowing a minimum of 70% collected developer overflow to be regenerated, resulting in an effective replenishment rate of 48ml/m2. In practice, lower returned volumes can be managed by use of modified mixing instructions. Please contact your FUJIFILM representative for advice.
High skilled chemists are not required as specific gravity and pH are the only 2 parameters to control.
